My name is Nick Ewins. The greatest thing I have ever done is to be a father of two boys. When I’m not spending time with the boys, I like to feed my hunger for knowledge and explore various things as it relates to computers and technology.

The beginning of my computer experience was in the 90’s just as Windows NT was taking hold and Unix dominated much of the server market. At that point in time, Linux was something you downloaded to tinker around with and not something you deployed in production. The majority of my early experiences were with IBM AIX, SCO OpenServer, HP-UX, & Sun Solaris. As the computing landscape changed, Centos, Redhat, Debian, and Ubuntu became part of those experiences.
